Precision Hormone and Thyroid Balancing with Providers Throughout Texas and Arizona

Our Providers

Dr. Melissa Miskell

Founder of Hormones by Design

Dr Melissa Miskell, Ob-Gyn is our founder and clinic Medical Director and has been running her own medical practice for over 20 years.

During her time in practice, she saw how the symptoms of menopause and peri-menopause negatively affected the quality of life for multitudes of women. So she decided to do something about it…without using harmful prescriptions like Premarin and Provera.

The other problem she set about tackling was that laboratory testing for hormone imbalance was very expensive.

She created Hormones by Design. Here we can draw your labs, treat you, and get you back to your busy life!

All this at an affordable price.

Skilled Practitioners

Our highly trained doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners are highly educated and experienced.

Tailored to You

Your treatment is always customized to each individual based on their lab results, symptoms and history.

Affordable

We have worked hard to be able to offer our patients very affordable fees and efficient testing and treatment.

In her spare time, Dr. Stumbo enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exercising.

Patricia “Pat” Berg, APRN, WHNP-BC – Waco

Pat has been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for 35 years.  She is a Waco native, however military life, education, and career have kept her away from Waco in past. Despite that, she has been able to find her way back to family, friends, and Central Texas for the last 30+ years.

She has previous Emergency Room and OB/GYN experience but has found that her true niche is anything that helps to empower and improve women’s lives and health.  She understands that hormone replacement is a big part of that.
